I bought these, when they first came on the market (not from amazon) and they smashed the white lining on the drum of the dryer. It wasn’t a new dryer but there was nothing incorrect with it in anticipation of I used these things. I had to buy a new dryer because because I was fed up with white paint flecks in my laundry and carpets.

I got those when I bought my own washer dryer. The spikes were constantly diminishing off in the drum and around the house (I’m still vacuuming them now!), the balls cracked terribly with the second time I used them, and they made no difference whatsoever to our laundry.
I give it a few weeks longer and then threw them away.

A complete waste of money – they make a noise akin to someone bashing a metal drum with a stick for an hour and make unquestionably no difference to the clothes. My tumble dryer has since stopped working -!?
