Particularly useful for fine glazing, in my experience. It is also very useful for mopping up the very last bit of sauce out of the bottom of jar.
With a maximum warmth guide of 250°C, the removable silicone head has floppy silicone strands rather than bristles and is dishwasher safe, although, when the sequence is finished, I do tend to pop it on a cut of kitchen towel to encourage the strands to dry out completely before putting away.
The sturdy wooden handle is hand-wash recommended and is the new comfortable rounded shape, complete with hole to allow it to hang around, if required.
LE CREUSET stamped on one side; a removable care sticker on the other.

Overall Length : 29.5cm
The silicone head is 4.5 cm wide and 8 cm long of which 4 cm fits tightly on the end of the wooden handle so no danger of the two parting company!
The 70 silicone strands are 3.75 cm in length.
